They use them for the same reason we do, to split the preout signals.

Not in the good old Alpine Camaro days for me, all this boomy crap is more iritating than audio in my book.

Randy, I run dual 12s in a standard cab S10 and it is far from boomy. You can not even hear my subs with the windows rolled up.

so i ran the coax for my sub, but am a bit confused on what end to purchase. i know i need an rca plug to crimp on the rg6, but not sure which one.

will this work? BNC Jack/RCA Plug Adaptor.

do these types of ends get crimped down or just twisted on to the coax?
