Yeah, was just talking to a friend that saw him perform with EC at Alpine Valley the night before SRV's copter went down (which EC was suppose to be on).

Wow... I didn't even know he HAD cancer. I haven't kept up with him much in the last 10-12 years....

Cancer cost him his eyesight at a young age (1 or 2) if memory serves

He was a Toronto club scene legend. I first heard him on a local radio station (Q107) and he played a few songs before the DJ annouced that he was a local artist, and completely blind.

RIP Jeff
