I possibly was too quick to jump into my new home theater. Not with the Axioms, however, M22's VP100, QS8's and a HSU STF2, all perform great. But I got a Harman Kardon AVR 347, also great sound, but no DD True HD, or DTS Master Audio. Also, the 347 does not have HDMI 1.3, but will pass 1080p through. I'm not sure if that means it will pass 'deep color' info through or if I would need to go directly to my display, which is HDMI 1.3.
So, I'm wondering if I have legitimate buyer's remorse, or I'm over reacting. I know our Blu Ray player can decode DD T HD, but not DTS MA. I can send it out as Multi CHannel PCM over HDMI and I guess that makes the lack of decoding by the AVR a moot point. Is that correct?? So my only concern is using the AVR as a video switch and keeping the wire clutter down.
I'm just rambling here, but would appreciate any comments on this matter.
Thanks so much, I'm so digging the fact that I can now post on this site as an Axiom owner and not just a dreamer. I'm working on custom cabs for the system and pics will follow completion.

It doesn't make any difference if the audio is decoded in the player or the receiver. You can always get a player that decodes DTS MA later if you really want that feature.
