That thing was $700? Wow. What business did you even have buying that thing? I guess my only recollection of the cost was the number of months I helped pay your rent. Strange thing is I seem to remember having something to do with getting you to ignore your better judgment....

Oh, just a tad. I think I paid $600 for it, as it was a floor model.

I did have a question about the auto on/off. Does anyone know how long it stays on after it's triggered, and/or how long it takes to warm up after it's triggered on?

I asked Jakeman about that if he recommended I use that feature. He said to use the "auto sense" mode if your sub has one, not all have this feature. I've done some testing with various tracks, and it seems to come on pretty fast, like the speed of light, just joking. I was wondering how long it takes to turn off as well, but the other night I got tired of waiting and went upstairs...

I think I missed somthing in one of the EP350 threads. Does the new EP350 have an auto-on/off?

yup, on the back there is a switch to disable/enable the auto sensing to turn on/off the sub. You can disable the circuit and it will be on all the time, or make use of the option to conserve energy and make Al Gore happy.

Cool! I had that with my previous sub (it was utter crap, but had auto-sensing and a remote!).

That is awesome news Ken. Sounds like you are a happy camper, or if not, at least a happy audio listener.

Well, I have some limited data. Either it stays on at pretty low volumes (-50 on the dial, I usually watch TV when The Boy is awake at -35) and turns off after about 10 minutes, or it stays on at -45, and turns off after 30 minutes.
