Congrats Ken, I look forward to posting the same thing later this week when my EP-600 ends its vacation in Syracuse and decides to come down to Texas.

It's really something else. The first few things I put on, I couldn't get it to work (??), but then I popped in Galaxy Quest, flipped to the first starship scene, and there it was! Then I put in Dire Straits--Money for Nothing, and there was stuff in the bass I'd never heard before! Same deal with Sting and NIN. Time Out (Brubeck) wasn't nearly so bass present, but it still sounded great on SACD. We threw in Hell Freezes Over (Eagles) and watched that at rather high (for us) volumes for awhile. I'm really impressed with this sub. Haven't done any real calibration yet, other than my wife saying, "That's not enough bass!"

Can Veils be Lifted from Bass or does that only apply to the Highs? Maybe the material needs to be heavier. Would you say it's like the "Burlap Has Been Lifted?"

At the moment, nothing. Before it died, my Cambridge Soundworks Powered Subwoofer 1. The best subwoofer I could find 10 years ago for $700. Sigh. Times, they do change.
