Who in Canada would carry such a beast? I don't need a lot, 15ft maybe. This will be for the mains where the wire will live under a carpet.

Doh! Guess I should have them pack it with the speakers.

Hmm... OK, all you guys with more experience on running wire and such, should I add an extra few feet to my cable runs for flexibility? I hate the idea of putting cable down and then realizing at some point down the road that I should have made the run a little longer.

Will call Axiom later today or tomorrow to upgrade my order yet again.

Yup. A little extra cable won't hurt anything, but not having enough will make you a very sad puppy indeed.

Oh yes, a few extra feet is a must, just to allow for speaker repositioning while cleaning if for no other reason.

Fred, as Ken indicated, having speaker wires a little too long doesn't hurt, but having them a little too short has been shown(in blind listening tests)to have a drastic effect on sound quality.

Your not pulling my leg are you John?

I was looking at my room today and I may just use cheap wire until I know exactly where the speakers will sit and how I am going to run cable.

I'm going to need 60ft. (25 & 35) for my surrounds and up to 20 ft. for the sub.

Naw, Fred; when the wires were too short it was like the speakers "disappeared".
