If my Sanyo Z2 ever dies, knock on wood, the new Panny PT-AE3000 will be at the top of my list. 1080p, awesome contrast, and a new Lens Learning system to adjust for 16:9, 1.85, 2.35 etc. movies.. I could sell my anamorphic lens. \:\)

Awwwwe, I thought I recalled a similar conversation. \:\) The main concern for me is how the aspect ratio feature works. Zooming does not reclaim the pixels taken up by the black bars of cinemascope movies, just moves them off the screen. Using a source that vertically stretches before the AL is introduced, is the only way I'm aware of that uses he full panel.

Either way, I'm excited to see how this plays out.
