I have two 600's which were in storage for a few months (way too long) while I finished my home theater. When I set them back up they both powered up fine but the next day I found that one had no power. I tried swaping out the power cords and fuses but they both work on the one and not the other I also tryed other outlets which did not work either. Any ideas??

Thanks

Sorry guys found the problem. thought I would pull the voltage regulator to see if there was a problem and found two fuses that I didnt realize were their and one was blown. does this happen often? if so I'm not sure why? other electronics seem to work fine in the same outlet.

Could it be it's a problem with the power to your theater? Much as I know you don't want to do this, have you tried moving the 600 that keeps blowing to a different circuit in your house to confirm whether plugging it in there causes the fuse to blow as well? If so, it sounds like a problem in the amp. If not, it might be the power to the room.

If you find it is not a sub-amp problem, you might consider looking at a power center, (Pure AV, Monster etc.)which will give you the option of delay on/off switching which will be easier on the circuit. Maybe a stupid question, but is the cable going from your AVR to the sub ok? Considering the limitations of positioning of the subs, I don't know whether this would be an option for you, but in my case with eight pieces of equipment including two multi-channel power amps on a regular 20 amp circuit, without the power center, I probably would be blowing fuses every time I turned everything on.

I had the same sub plugged into the same outlet about 3 or 4 months ago and it worked fine. I dont have a surge protector or line conditioner plugged into it. are most people doing this? if so I will need to buy 4 of them to protect my whole system. I was thinking of getting one for everything in my equipment rack but its a good 20ft from one sub and about 30ft to the one with the issue.

Sent an email to axiom last night and got a reply to replace both fuses I did this and they blew again. So tonight I called and talked to Brent Tombari who was very friendly and awesome to deal with he said that they will be sending out a new amp. I'm so amazed at the service this company provides this is the best I have been treated by any company to date. sure makes you feel good about purchasing their product. not to mention the steller sound quality that they produce.

Playa - to answer your earlier question, no, I don't believe you need power conditioners on even one of your power locations unless you know for a fact you have electrical problems in your house. That doesn't sound like the case, so I wouldn't drop the money there, especially with a new amp on the way.
