I'm in the market to purchase L/R/C I'm currently looking at the: M80's v2 or the T80's (in-wall)
I would prefer to have th in-wall version, I haven't been able to find any research on these.
They mentioned they are the same speaker it's just the T80's are ported in the front vs. the rear and the fronts are the only finished part.
Does anyone have any concerns about mounting these in a false wall?
I'm currently using ascends 7 speaker set up with an SVS ultra sub, but I'm want a little more punch for mids and highs
I plan on running the 80's off of a Motiva XPA 2 and the surrounds off the MPA5 (4ohms for the L/R) with a denon 2809.
Thanks John

The T80s were specifically designed to be built around, so building them into a false wall is just fine.

Some people apparently had problems running the m80's from the XPA2 and it could not handle the 4 ohm load....

The Emotiva XPA-2 has had problems with the M80's. The MPA-5 has a better history.
Not that I would know personally. just telling you what I've picked up in discussions around here.

Is there a T150 center channel? I don't see it on the site... Thanks for the quick response In the notification to Axiom owners of the new T80's it listed the T150 being available. You'll need to call Axiom to see when it's available as I haven't seen it online yet.

I've read that thread about the XPA-2 and the 80's and read a thread on Motiva's site. I feel like it will work. Unless Axiom or Motiva tells me different. I do appreciate the notice though. i already have the Motiva's and really want the 80's. Again thanks for the quick responses!

Looking forward to a review from you in the event you purchase some M80s, oh, and of course pictures, lots and lots of pictures.

One more question... Does anyone know if the T150's can be angled down a little to the listening position?
Thanks

I imagine you'd have to build a custom box for it to do that. As I understand it, they're designed to mount flush.
