 Help me find a CD player

Well I'm doing my first stereo upgrade with a new CD player. I'm considering a Nad C541i from audiogon for around $325. I've read many good reviews about it and it sounds really nice. However, I'd really like to know if anyone would want to suggest an alternative. I'm really just going for a good cd player because I plan to do another system for 5.1 audio/video later down the road. I'll get a universal for that system. Well I look forward to what everyone has to say.

For that price range the NAD is probbly a winner.

Cambridge Audio has a couple of players you could pick up in that price range from their old line. Great sound and value, and less prone to QC problems than NAD.
