Do I smell a little Quite Riot, perhaps some Cinderella LP's floating around the collection????? Do tell... Oh no... I liked Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, AC/DC, Twisted Sister... that kind of thing... nothing to be ashamed of... but when you bought a Meh-tull May-Nee-Ah magazine, you got the whole gamut of bands. "Hey, that chick's pretty ho... OH GOD, it's CC Deville... lalalalala" Damn! Short of Twister Sister (which i just don't get, and had loads of spandex) you are giving me nothing here. Come on, you never dabbled with Mili Vinilli, tried Britney or spent a secret evening with Abba? Give me something...

Bee Gees - Saturday Night Fever (don't laugh, you had to have lived it) I worked in a Disco in Banff the year that album came out. There was some real bad music there for a few years, but the Bee Bees put out a lot of good music. Everyone likes to make fun of Disco, but I hear the thump thump boompa boompa rythms of disco in a surprising number of recent stuff. I also remember the night a really hot woman with 6" heals put one of them through the dance floor doing some 'cool disco moves'. Life was good.

Nice list shane. I havn't listened to any Mike Oldfield in a long long time. I check when I'm in the usd cd store, but I don't expect anything to turn up. I don't know if any of his stuff is still in release. Hey, check out his website. It makes cool noises when you roll over links. I should add Cat Stevens, Tea for the Tillerman to my list.

Most people think of Tubullar Bells re Mike Oldfield, but I have to say that I preferred Ommadawn a little more. Both were excellent albums though, Mike was one of those musical geniuses. Hey, but now we've got Fat Boy What's-his-name, it's all good!!!

I never listened to Ommadawn, Just Tubular Bells and Hergest Ridge. I see he released another disk late last year. Apparently its popular in classical circles in the UK.
The guy could (and did) play almost 40 different instruments! I always found that amazing.
