A 10" woofer is going to have a hard time reaching really low. I think what Axiom is squeezing out of their 12" is exceptional. Now This is a big(er) sub: Dual 15" high excursion drivers in an 8 cf sealed cabinet.

You wanna bet those fish just swim in circles biting their nails?

I'm skeptical that a 400 watt amp and 2 ten-inchers are going to come anywhere close to the extension and volume of the EP800. Without specs listed for that sub it's hard to know for sure, but just from what little is listed, it seems like a long shot.

The nearly $3,000 price for a sub with a 400 watt amplifier seems laughable.

Hey CoolJ92 stop teasing with the thread title, I thought this was a chance to win one of cv's two EP-800's

That's pretty far from the 12-150hz +/- 1db mentionned by Ian. The EP800 rules! I'll eventually have one... eventually... (when I can install it in a house).

Thanks for the link CV. 20Hz seems about right for a high excursion 10" driver.

Heck, even my old sub reached to 21hz, just not with any authority. Now that I have it back I should hook it back up and do some REW graphs with it.
