Suddenly, half of the words on the forum are Chinese characters? Did I hit a wrong button or something?

Microsoft Explorer. It is not all the selections - just some. Example: I am typing in the "Quick Reply" box. The left button at the bottom is in Chinese - I think it typically says "Submit Reply". The middle and right buttons are still in English. One of the regulars on here - his signature quotes Calvin about making the day a little surreal?

Just found the thread you guys started, what's going on with the Chinese? Where's Jack Bauer? I don't like the look of this.

I'm also getting Chinese characters; Firefox on Ubuntu 8.10.

The "Submit" button is in Chinese, but Preview and Switch to Full Reply Screen are in English.

Please don't tell me our government is forcing all our businesses to switch from being French/English bilingual to Chinese/English bilingual as part of the stimulus package.

Hello All;

We're doing some work on a Chinese version of these message boards and Chinese was inadvertently set as the default language for the forums for a few hours.

Sorry!

Why would Axiom need a Chinese version of the board?

And I'm not saying that in an anti-Chinese way, I'm just curious. Are there many Chinese-speaking Axiom owners? Is Axiom gearing up to start marketing to China?

I mean, look at the French forum. There's what, 200 posts?

Hopefully it’s indicative of a move too other large markets outside the North American market by Canadian companies.
There’s also a large Chinese population in Canada, as well as other Asian cultures.

While on the subject of Chinese...

I had a few Canadian dollars I needed to exchange, so I went to the currency exchange window at the local bank. Short line. Just one lady in front of me ... an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars and she was a little irritated . . she asked the teller, 'Why it change?? 'Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today I get hunat eighty?? Why it change?' The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, 'Fluctuations'

The Asian lady says, 'Fluc you white people, too'.
