I have a wireless router already. And the Denon hooks wireless to it. But in looking for those iTunes files they dont show up. I didnt buy all the music from them its mostly CD's I uploaded...but then had them converted into the .aac files. So it seems that this is the problem now lol. One thing I think I need as well is to keep the sound analog into the receiver. That way my zone 2(outside) and 3(garage) will be able to play it.

Can I get a miniplug to RCA patch cable and then go into a aux input of some sort? and skip the vid?

I've not had any luck sharing itunes files through the ps3 because of their protected format. If you rip your music into more "normal" formats (like mp3, for example), Tversity can stream that stuff to the PS3. You can also use the sharing in Windows Media Player similarly.

Here's a story on someone trying just that:

The Airport Express (or Extreme) are simply routers. They help you share your internet connection to your wireless devices and help you network your stuff together. You still need something to access/play that data back from the network.

Ahhh ok...so thats out

Yes, the PS3 angle kills my zone options.

Can you have your music in itunes and still have it playback on a ipod as a mp3? Is there a way to convert them back to a mp3?

i use an AppleTv to do it. Had the Denon iPod dock, but it's a POS, and probably won't work with iPhone 3g. there's several options that will work: Xbox 360, PS3, AppleTv, etc.. just depends on if you already have the equipment or if you're willing to spend more $$$.

There are ways to convert from the itunes format, yes. Here's one example: http://www.m4p-mp3.com/

iTunes itself can run just about anything. (and ipods can play mp3s too) If itunes is playing Mp3s, you could simply point Tversity to feed off the same folder(s) and it could also use those files.

like jfdawson said, the apple tv is your quickest/easiest solution for the music. (if it's in your budget) It's just like adding another dvd player or game console to your home theater setup, but it also pulls your itunes content from your pc.

No, the airport express reads the aac files and outputs them as optical or analog audio. What you're really looking for is the AppleTV, which doesn't require the computer to be on. (The Airport Express does)

BTW, AAC is not a proprietary format; only the protected AAC (like you would buy from the iTunes Store) is. If a device can play regular AAC, it should work fine with music ripped to iTunes.
