Or it could run on kinetic energy like my Seiko kinetic chronograph watch. The movement of the woofer could keep the battery charged. 
The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.

No auto shut off on EP500 ??? The Axiom EP500v2 powered subwoofer offers the state-of-the-art most advanced "Auto Shut Off/ON" device possible. Using speakers to generate power is about the most inefficient thing you can do. Speakers themselves are highly inefficient at converting electricity into motion. A lot of energy is lost as heat.

That might sound crazy, but I was actually just reading an article on motorcycle racing where they were explaining how they could use the heat stored in the brake rotors to help power the bike (they were talking about a future generation of electric motorcycles)... it all went over my head, but they talked about it none the less.
