Oh man, that sucks. Sorry that my question caused such grief. But I do thank you for the info.

Right now my center is angled up 4° with MoPads. That's just about right. 17° would be too much, but if I use the MoPads backward with the spacer I can subtract 8 from that, and end up with 9° of up-tilt. That should be pretty close to what I need too.

I’m betting your speaker’s alright, I hope you can take care of the floor. I pulled one of my QS8s over stringing a tape measurer from it. Scraped the grill but no other problems. Funny how these “poorly braced” speakers can take a lot of punishment.

I don't even take the pills and didn't come up with it. Googled, it's a radio station.

I see an opening here for a dictionary of acronyms. I'll write it when I retire. These days acronyms are tossed around without explanation.

By the way, my center channel speaker crashed to the floor in the middle of the night. It was supported over my Samsung DLP by one of those metal shelves with adhesive supports that affix to the slanting back panel of the "Sammie".

Of course, in humid weather the adhesive failed, and down went the center. Chipped corner, no other damage other than my being startled out of a deep sleep. I thought the pods had landed.

Cheers,
Alan

I think everyone else should chip a corner on their centres, to show their support for us guys.

Wow, I didn't figure it out until Micah explicitly explained it.

I have an excuse, though. She's 4 months old.
