Rick, as to the 806, if you haven't already looked at it a good buy is the factory refurb from Accessories4less for about $500.

Rick, any reason you're considering the QS4 over the 8? just curious.
My room is virtually the same size as your's but with an 8 ft ceiling. I'm using the Denon 2809(has pre's) and have to say it's an excellent unit for the price, although I don't know what they go for in the US. That Onkyo 806 that John listed looks like an awesome deal as well.

On the left rear wall where I have my wires ran I only have 10" of room. So I need to have a speaker that is less than 10" wide, hence the QS4s.

Weren't some people have problems with that model of Onkyo and the m80's? I wouldn't have to worry about that as it would only be powering the center channel. I have two amps that will be used.
