Are these component cables good?

currently in my dad's system he is using Monster Cable s-video for his dvd player to his hdtv....the picture looks good so far. I was gonna get him the AR component cable but it seems like they are out of stock from partsexpress.com....are the Dayton component cables good? Will it still be better than the Monster s-video cable?

Component cable is supposed to be better than S Video. I use Dayton subwoofer cables and they seem to be well made and inexpensive - a great combination.

ER,the Daytons are as good as anything and there's no reason to pay more. I note that the lengths over 3' are shown as out of stock. If an S-video connection is in good condition the improvement that the component connection would bring would be quite small.
