The graphics are a bit outdated, and the gore level is realistic only if you're using hollow-point rounds.

That's like bringing a javelin to a toothpick fight.

House of Dead Overkill and Madworld, both for Wii.
Over the top, campy, and HILARIOUS, IMHO. Pretty violent and rough language, not good for kids.

Peggle on Xbox Live Arcade
I liked the limited version, Peggle Extreme, I got for free on Steam, and I had $5 in credit on Amazon.com's Xbox Live Arcade store, so for an additional $5, I decided to go for this version. It's just as addictive. I kind of hate how I get suckered into simple games like this, while my much more expensive games sit on the shelf.

playing infinite undiscovery from the 9.99 Bestbuy game sale (Thanks CV!) The game is pretty decent, and a definite steal at 10 bucks. I wasn't quite sure what I thought about it for the first hour or more of play but now that I am about 2 hours in it is really starting to grow on me.
For 10 bucks I wouldn't pass it up, but for $40 I would.

Fallout 3 [Xbox 360]
It's all right so far. I like the atmosphere, though I'll agree with whoever said it's harder to get into than Oblivion (David?). I think it's just easier to fill a fantasy world with things to do than a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Still, I can see playing this through and trying to max out my character. I have to make time for Gears of War 2, Fable II, and Tales of Vesperia, though. Yes, I'm finally catching up on some video games I wanted.
