About 2 years ago my future son-in-law heard meowing in the wall in his bathroom. It didn't go away even after a day or so. He pulled off some of the wallboard (even though he was living in an apartment) and pulled out a kitten. The next day he found another kitten in the same wall. It turns out that a feral cat had a litter in the attic area and these two kittens had fallen down the inside of the wall. So he ended up raising these two kittens and still has them.

So now you know why the walls are meowing...

20 Years ago, my girlfriend asked me to look after her cat while she was away for a week. Not liking cats, but liking her more I said okay. I got back from work one day and damn if I could find the cat. I looked everywhere for 3 hours. Under beds, cabinets, couches, on top of cabinets, outside etc.....

Then I heard a sound........from the fireplace.

The cat had crawled up and onto a ledge in the firebox. Needless to say the cat was filthy. Covered in soot from nose to tail.

So now I had to clean the world's meanest cat. Someone told me that you had to use special shampoo for cats, so off to the store and with a bottle of herbal, organic yada bada crap of sucker just spent $40 bucks on shampoo I proceeded to bathe the beast.

Side note: De-clawing should be mandatory on cats. Nuf said.

I then blocked the fireplace off so I didn't have to go through that again. I came home from work the next day and sure enough the @#$%(@)#($%@) cat was up the chimney again. Any one gotta match?

I married that girl and the cat came with her and lived for another 14 years but I still never let her forget that the cat still had the most expensive shampoo in the house.

Good story. If it makes you feel any better, my brother has a cat who is banned by every vet clinic in the city. It's been declawed in the front, Thank God for the entire human race, but it is still capable of such blood rendering carnage that the vets refuse to handle it.

You and your avatar are legitimately starting to scare me Catbrat. Even my cat is hiding in the Christmas tree in the basement.

Not to worry. My cat's been trained to only salivate when veterinarians get close.

Edit: But what gets me is the way she throws herself against the glass window whenever the mailman arrives.

The 20+ lb male cat I had (died a couple years back) hated the vet, but was a pretty good sport about his checkups. At least until it was time to take his temperature. He did NOT like anything going near his pooper. I had to hold him down for that.

I had some sympathy puckers when the vet did that to my cats. The look on my cat's face made me cringe.
