My air conditioner is being replaced in my car today, by a gearhead that has a shop in a country area about 30 minutes from where I live. He said that when he's done with it, there's a good chance that I could get snow coming out of the vents.

And you're sure he's not just blowing snow?

Better than blowing hot air, where air con is concerned.
Half of communication is listening. You can't listen with your mouth.

Today a friend was telling me about another friend that just bought some speakers. His old Sony system bit the dust. I asked him if he knew what kind of speakers they were. He said no, and made some small shape with his hands and said they were these little boxes.
Yikes. They could have been M0s... It wasn't Bose or M0s, it was this Panasonic HTIB. I haven't heard them yet. Edit: Fortunately it's rare that I ever listen to his system. About twice a year. I think I'll take my own advice and just keep mum about what I think it sounds like.

Man, if it isn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. I just paid about $700 to get the air conditioning in my car fixed Wednesday and today, Friday, it stopped working again. I called the mechanic and I'll have to take my car back Saturday afternoon.
Here's the past 3 weeks: 1) The cooling system went out in my car. $250. 2) My cordless drill stopped working. $200. 3) My clothes drier died. $400. 4) My glasses broke. $110 to fix and $375 for new pair. 5) My recliner broke that I sleep in $500. 6) The air conditioner went out in my car. $700. 7) My blu-ray player quit on me. $150. 8) The chair I bought isn't going to work for me and La-Z-Boy doesn't take them back (too bad, so sad, they say). 9) The air conditioner in my car broke again.

That is a bad run of luck. If your going to blame Murphy's Laws, just remember I had nothing to do with it.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

I think this goes beyond Murphy's law. I feel I should get an award or something.

CatBrat, You should go out and buy a lotto ticket. You're luck is due for a turn-around and you might as well as cash in! But then again, for all I know, your wife broke the dryer to get a new one, and you broke your stuff to scam new equipment!

LOL. Can't blame the wife. Don't have one. Maybe the cat.
