Here's the first results after two hours of hard work. The first chart (BC +OW +EQ +SR +Stereo) is Bookshelf M22 + Onwall M22 + MCACC EQ on + Sound Retriever on + L/R/SW) The 2nd chart (BC +OW +EQ +Stereo) is the same, but without the sound retriever on. I've been liking it with the sound retriever turned on and now you can see why. It has a flatter freq response. You can also see where at 4000 hz there is a large peak and that explains why the onwall M22 is bright to my ears on female vocals. (Edit: Only certain female voices that can hit this range and certain musical instruments.) Later, I'll do more charts. I want to see the Bookshelf and the on-walls seperated out. Edit: I guess that's bookshelf (BS). I can't get bookcase (BC) out of my head.

Hi CatBrat, In reality, what you are obtaining are graphs showing the measurements of your room and not the measurements of your M22 speakers.

By posting this I was also hoping I could get some sort of suggestion as to how to compensate for this peak at 4,000 hz. I was wondering exactly what in the room is causing this. Perhaps you need more pictures?

The following is the Bookshelf M22's only (in my room) set to large. The first graph is the BS M22's with all sound enhancers turned off. The 2nd graph is with the MCACC EQ turned on. The biggest enhancement was in the 2500 hz range. All other freq got a volume boost, but that was about all.

MAAC doesn't appear to have done much.

Nope. It didn't do much at all with the M22, except enhance the area of upper violin, piano, harp and piccolo.

Looking more closely it looks like the scale on the two graphs is a little different. That makes it hard to compare.
From the looks of it, you have the same dips and peaks, but less pronounced. Does it sound any different to you?

Yes, at least from the graphs, the MCAAC appears to have made a useful improvement in the areas that you mention.
