If 2x6 is in that much of a hurry and cannot send them back, that is not Axioms fault. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't re-ship another set with magnetic grilles and white drivers if so requested.

Hmmmm... now see he just said the same thing I did. Why can't I make my point in under 10,000 words like him????

Like I said from the beginning. The speakers are beautiful and they sound great. Concerning the question as to whether these speakers which have all the indicia of V2s are V2s or V3s, I'll accept Brent's representation that they are V3s which look exactly like V2s.

I think the matter could have been handled differently and better. JMO.

Man, I was totally going to watch some Futurama. Or maybe Simpsons, if I can steel myself to watch another BSG.

Oh, well. If I don't have anything intelligent to say, it usually comes out as a miserable attempt at humor.

I actually don't doubt Monster stuff is actually pretty good... It's just obscenely over-priced and aimed at Joe six pack who is going to be lulled into the sales pitch thinking what's $100 when he just paid $2000 for a new TV.

Well I have never had a six pack, but I got pulled in with that exact sales pitch when I purchased my last HT. The arguement was, "your system is as good as it's weakest link"... so I figured well hell, I just spent $7000 dollars on a new TV, a Denon reciever and a 9.1 speaker surround system, I CAN'T waste my time and money hooking all that stuff up with cheapo wire and connectors or it will all be for not!

So I spent close to $1000 bucks wiring it all up. Then I happened upon this (Axiom) site when looking for HT #2 and realized that an inexpensive HDMI cable does not = cheap. It just doesn't take money out of my wallet needlessly.

Thank you Axiom site! laugh
