Just wondering if anyone has used M22's as surrounds. I listen to a lot of multichannel music and concert DVD's so I am thinking a direct radiating speaker would be better as surrounds. My room is about 12.5 X 19. Would you go with a different speaker? I have Integra receiver with DefTechs in the front and DefTech subwoofer.

Seems to me that if you are interested enough in multi-channel audio to favor direct-radiating speakers in the back, it makes sense to match those speakers with the mains (at least by manufacturer).
I think the QS8's are fabulous surround speakers.
Hawkson101 recently tried your scenario, I believe, and ultimately decided against it. Search for his username and you may find something relevant.

Hawkson101 wasn't using mult-channel source material however. His receiver was taking a 2-channel source and sendig it to all his speakers (if I remember correctly).

Sorry, Peter. My mistake. Too many posts.
I think the basic premise still holds, though. If you're serious about multi-channel audio, why not get ALL DefTech or ALL Axiom?
