I have been thinking of getting either the Sonos system or the squeezebox ever since I got my axiom speakers. Almost pulled the trigger on the sonos until I heard about airplay from apple. I've been playing with airplay for the past few days and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I use the ipad to stream music to the new apple tv. It works pretty much flawlessly. I've always been a PC guy, but I have to say apple is really winning me over. Also I never had a device as simple to setup as the apple tv. The only thing you have to do is plug it in. The rest takes care of itself.

I was impressed, too. I upgraded the iOS on my iPad at my brother's house in Chicago just so I could stream music from it to the Airport Express that he has connected to his home stereo. Apple will take care of you well if you've got a bunch of their recent devices.
