I finally got my stands today and got the speakers (hopefully) lined up even. Still have to buy better speaker wire tonight and mount my surrounds. I'll post a couple of more pics tonight.

I think you will find that putting the speakers farther apart will give you a better sound...

That depends on how far away he's sitting. (Though I'm guessing that with a TV that big, he's sitting a bit farther back than the current spacing implies)
Most people find the best results with the speakers spaced equally as far apart from eachother, as they'll be from you in the listening position. Then toe them in just slightly. Results will vary from room to room, but in general, that's been most peoples best positioning.
