the post by jeffyu254 got me thinking... I'm now considering using 3 m2i's for the front three speakers in my home theater (all vertically oriented). Has anyone tried this? How did it sound?

Paul, it would work very well unless your listening room was very large. For an old take, read this thread with the perceptive(since he agreed with me)report by alsana.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

Thanks John. did a search on the m2 and m22 as a center and found some good reviews. however, the m2 has low power handling and sensitivity compared to the vp 100 and vp 150, so it won't play as loud. The m2 may do the trick, but I guess it all depends on how loud you like to listen.

The M2 center will certainly match the M2 left and right perfectly. Crossed over at 80hz, I found they played plenty loud.
