I want to get the Qs4s for my back speakers. So here's my problem, when installing the jacks for the room we didn't really know to much about good speaker placement, so they are pretty much in the WAY off category. Anyway, one of them is alright however its is about 4 and half feet above my ear height at seated postion, the other is about 12 feet away from that, also at 4 and a half feet.

I'd like to know what you feel is the best solution to this problem, i'd rather not have to make new holes in the wall, as im all constructioned out after finishing the basement with my family, and building my tv stand. I also don't want the speaker cables to be visible, but that might have to be done. My receiver has the option to set the distance and im hoping that will be enough. Please give me your best opinion on what should be done. And Thanks.

I'd work with what you've got. Calibration should correct for the different distances just fine.

I agree with Peter (although I try not to point that out TOO often). You'll probably be very happy as-is.
