I already had that written but I'm not as mean as that other Rick.

Not really, Rick. I found Axiom's claim that it was for such a trivial purpose(in my view)as having the logo right-side-up to be rather curious. As I commented in the earlier thread, some tweeters(e.g., see measurements at Stereophile)have different dispersion above and below axis. Your impressions may be correct.

Turn the tweeter around. Turn it upside down. It improves the percussion.

Curious claim? Do you believe that Amie lied or is not knowledgeable about the products? If she did not know all she had to do was ask Ian. She has probably known for years. I wonder how many emails she gets ever week asking her if it matters.

Axiom made a public statement about their product. Your hypothesis is based on "other speakers" and is not backed up by any measurements on Axiom speakers that you have read about or performed yourself.

Perhaps this thread should be titled “Venus and Mars”. From a technical point of view there is no need to turn the tweeter over; it will sound exactly the same either way. What struck me as so funny about this post is we have all the guys wondering why in the world you would bother turning your tweeter over only for the sake of not having an upside down logo. And then we have Amie and Debbie who probably would have turned it over even it made somehow sound a bit worse. Very Funny!

It's true, very amusing, and certainly says a lot about the female vs. male sensibility.

With Amie and Debbie, it's all about appearances.

My former spouse used to buy me gorgeous designer clothes. I didn't want to know what they cost, and I hate shopping for clothes, so it was a great arrangement.

Now I really don't care what I look like, so long as I'm covered up.

What if you turn it sideways? Or 45°?
