I just noticed when I took the grill off of one of my M22's that one of the woofer's has a drop of glue on it. Will this hurt the sound quality of the speaker? Also, anyone else have any little white specs on their speaker cabinets? Mine are black and I noticed the specs when I shined a flashlight on them.

Glue on the woofer is pretty bad I think. There was some on my m2i cabinets when I got them but I was able to scrap it off.

Hi Mike. I received an e-mail from Brent at Axiom and he said that it won't affect performance of the woofer. It's not a huge drop of glue but it still had me worried.

Glock,

Fingerprints?? Glue?? Have you considered wrapping these things in Saran wrap to protect them?

i had small drops of glue on my woofers when my axioms came. they fell right off, though, when i tinkered with them.

I did the same thing with a small speck on glue on one of my M22's drivers. I used a gentle horizontal scraping motion with a toothpick -- being careful to only touch the raised glue drop. It came off without trouble and didn't leave a mark.

My plan is to avoid performing a glue inspection entirely. I DO have pictures of that process, here they are:
