If I trade in my M80 v3 towers for the M100s, will what I gain from improvements in new tweeters and new woofers be somewhat diminished by less "timbre match" and integration with my VP180 and M22 v3 rears? Thank you.

IMO,
If you bump the center a DB or 3 yo should be fine.

I've got LFR's with the new woofers, not new tweeters yet, and they blend perfectly well with my180. Keep in mind from my understanding the primary difference in the new tweeters is the case; not the actual driver ect. So, the end result acoustically should be pretty much identical; with the new tweeters having a much better heat transfer coefficient (due to having a metal case instead of a plastic one) thus allowing them to play louder..
