What "new AA"?

Sorry meant "new to me." lack of caffeine.

I emailed Debbie the other day but haven't heard back yet about the status of the production of my microphone version of the AA. I was supposed to be helping with beta testing so I assume there is currently some delay in their production.

Got my AxiomAir yesterday. This thing is HUGE! WAY bigger than I thought. Definitely will have some trouble finding a proper place for it in the house, haha, I mean, can't just be used as a bathroom speaker :P The rosewood veneer is absolutely stunning.

Anyways, trying to setup the NAS with the web page controller, I seem to have some problems with the sorting the songs. I have around 700 albums in there, all FLAC, more or less 9000 songs, and yet, all it shows is 180 albums and 3000 songs, no matter how many times I re-scan. And to make things worse, it doens't even list all the albums it read. Right now the list goes up to the letter F and then that's it.

Also, I wonder if there are any plans to add google casting to the device, as it would add a lot of options for music listening. I know I can just pop a chromecast audio in the auxiliar port but I would rather not do it as it would ruin the portability.

Hi Pernalonga,

There is no limit on the number of songs at 3000. If it is always stopping at the same song I would try removing that song.

Production chugging along at full speed?

Ian, it would be great if the AA had Pandora support. Not sure about others, but that is a critical must-have in my book. I am unable to stream arbitrary music from my Android phone unless I root it, and use BubbleUpnp. Without rooting, I am limited to web radio, and music I uploaded to google play, streamed from BubbleUpnp (I don't have a home NAS).

We do plan on adding steaming services for Android. They do work currently over AirPlay. This will start after we get through the list of other little changes we need to clean up. The first one will be TIDAL but the plan is to get as many as we can.

Thanks Ian! I feel somewhat crippled on the use of the unit with Android . May have to root the phone to fully use BubbleUpnp.

On a different note, I listened to Europa Radio Jazz today on web radio ... it felt like I had a couple of M60s in my living room. The baby can belt out some solid volume and bass. Amazing.
