hehe...I'll keep that sound advice in mind for later...regarding wife management. Regarding features for the 4802R...the extra power and THX Ultra2 certification were two that jumped out at me....
I'll have to reserve judgement on the "good deal" until I receive the amp and confirm that everything is A ok...but they tell me it shipped today...so hopefully I can get you a confirmation on that in a couple of days. The website was www.bigdealtv.com

Here is a link from Denon Site . Once you open the site, look at the line titled "Denon A/V Receivers". At the end of that line, there is a yellow star. Click on it and you will get a multipage chart comparing all of the current Denon receivers. It's pretty interesting and should answer any questions you are likely to have about the 4802R. Except, of course, how you are going to pay for it!
