Sweet, congrats man, it is so exciting to get a new toy. I went from a Sony HTIB, to a Sony receiver to a Denon Receiver and then separates and nothing was more rewarding than getting my XMC-1 though each step was a noticeable upgrade. The best part is you will never find yourself wanting for a pre/pro or receiver ever again.

I've gone from very similar, Sony HTIB to Onkyo HTIB then to Onkyo with Klipsch 20s didn't like the treble on the Klipsch after very short time then found Axiom. And haven't looked back since for speakers.

With my ADA1250 pushing the fronts and center seems more detailed then my older Oynks with the 1250.
I had the same experience with the AVM60 with my ADA1000. that was coming from a Pioneer, Marantz, Yamaha... i tried too many and just couldn't get a wow sound like i knew the speakers could make.
Anthem: AVM60, Fosi DAC-Q5 Axiom: ADA1500, LFR1100 Actiive, QS8, EP500, M3, M3comp, M5

Holy@#$@ I can't believe the detail, All my selections more horns, pianos etc. Like the older processors weren't fully decoding details. Even my Integra with full upscale Qdeo Burrbrown etc.
Even guests noticed more details before showed them the unit.
Still haven't learned settings yet, only quick ARC run through without even adjusting subs.
