My curious grandson did a number on my son's M50 v4 6.5" drivers, denting both voice coil covers and wrinkling the cones. The mid has a noticeable buzz. Does Axiom sell replacement drivers?

Damn.
I love the modern retro sound of my ebony M50v4.

I live with this fear everyday from my kids attacking my woofers. I feel that pain.
M50v4. Sweet. I’d love to hear those as I LOVE my m3v4.
Are M50 v4 a straight 2 way or do they roll at 2.5 way?

I’m going to bet it’s a straight 2 way. I’m assuming m22 is the same. I’d look it up but they’re not on website.
I’ve always liked the looks of the m22. It’s just interesting to look at.

Tyler, the M50 is a 2-way. The mid-woofers on the M22 and other drivers are 5.25".

Tyler, this is for your reading enjoyment. https://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/ubbthreads.php/topics/432361/re-m50v4-vs-m3v4#Post432361If you got the M50v4, you'd seriously have a tough time not hanging on to them and periodically switching between the M60 and M50. When I down-size and decide to roll doobies and suck back scotch, M50 for me all the way! Nothing sounds bad on the M50 and M3. I can't say that about any other Axiom.

Now you guys got me goin'.
They are so smooth, man. And the bass, as long as you don't pump them up too much, integrates so much better with my rooms than the M5, M80 and M100. And nicer bass than the M5, M3, M80 and M100.

You know all those ancient bands old codgers like me grew up with? Like AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden? The ones with sound engineers who must have been stoned out of their drunken minds when they were supposed to be sound engineering? If you listen to those on ALFRs, you'll want to pour gasoline in your ears and ignite it. But on the M50...well...you can just zone out, man! The harshness from those bands flows into the binding posts, gets mashed up by the cross-over and is presented to your ears-brain in a velvety texture by the somewhat confused twin 6.5" drivers that are having to play low and yet also high. The tweeter takes it all in stride as it distances itself from the madness just below 3KHz.
There is no other way to serve up those bands. I'm glad the M50 can act as our ears-brain interface to them.
