Will changing binding posts on older speakers create any improvement besdies ease of connection? Im using the crappy guillotine connects on the back of my older speakers, and I was thinking, if its not too hard, if it would be usefult o switch the to 5 way binding posts...? Any thought?

Hi,
It will make a more mechanically and electrically secure connection, but you won't hear any difference, unless the old guillotine connector is intermittent (you'd hear static-like sounds if you wiggle the wire in the connector). The spring-loaded connectors can gradually deteriorate or slice off fine strands of bare wire, which can make a connection poor or intermittent.
Binding posts, especially gold-plated ones, won't oxidize or corrode over the long term.
