Thanks for all the kind words. I wanted to post the pics so you could see what I'm up against with my speaker placement. I've re-arranged the furniture twice now trying to get it to look right and be sound friendly, but it still just don't look right. Plus, the 80's do sound different when I move them around. Now I have a sub to content with when it shows up. It's going next to the right speaker as a couch end table.

The HT is in the loft, only on the other side of the house. The loft picture shown is where I'm setting up a drafting area. I have a little beer drinking deck outside that loft. I hope now you know why I had to go with them Bose speakers in the loft.

Thanks for the help with the pics Jack. I'll put up some outside shots later. I have to run to a diner party now. then I'm hosting a B-day party for a girlfriend tomorrow night.......then it's another party Saturday night.

Anybody have a sharp blade. I'm going to start just below my left ear lobe and cut a line under my chin and stop just below the right ear lobe. All kidding aside, nice pad drew.

Yeah dude that's gotta be a fully functional chick lair...the consumate bachelor pad. Just hope you got a hot tub out there somewhere too. You can probably pay off your mortgage by renting the place out one weekend a month as a get-away for couples. Ahhh...bachelorhood...

Well I don't know about the house being a chic lair, but this is a small town, it might be somewhere with a larger population base, possibly. Plus Alaska has a pretty skewed male/female ratio. I'm thinking it's about 8/1, not in my favor. I'm recently divorced, so I can attest (at least personally), that the bachelor life is not all that wonderful. I'd rather come home every night to a good woman that I get along with, than bringing different women home from time to time. So take it from a bachelor that used to not be a bachelor, single life sucks. I live in Valdez.

well said brother.. the key is to find a good woman. i got real lucky with my wife.. i wouldnt trade her for nothing.. well, maybe one of those new 600 subs..

anyway, i would be totally done if i was back in the 'life of a bachelor'. i have lost all of my cool points over the past few years, and have NO idea how to get them back.
