I am trying to find a peice that I beleive was conducted by Jon Washburn.
the piece was amazingly serene vocals.
I looked on Amazon and saw many albums. unfortunatley I do not know whih album or piece I am looking for.
If anyone know much about these guys, maybe you could help me narrow it down.
I heard it late about 2 years ago on PBS... and I remembered the name, becaue I knew a washburn (in the Army)
any way the music was so serene it would be unmistakable. Unless that is the type they put out.

Dave, I'm not familiar with the group, but I'll take a guess on this one . Listen to the samples to see if they're familiar. If not, you might also check the other seven CDs by them which Tower has.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

But of course you can play those! All you need is Windows Media Player for the Mac, available somewhere on this site or Real Player for the Mac somehwere around here.

Hi Virtual,
Try doing a search for CBC-Radio or the merchandising arm of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, which is headquartered in Toronto, where I used to live. CBC is the state-supported national radio network in CAnada, and it has always had a recording division. Many of the CBC's CDs are not distributed in the U.S. and you can only get them only through the CBC. Up until the mid-90s, when I left Toronto, CBC radio was still broadcasting live recitals by various groups in Canada, including the Vancouver Chamber Choir, which was led by Jon Washburn. Some of those recitals are subsequently issued on CD, but many are not.
