Well, the long awaited sub purchase was made (to finally quit hearing "when are we getting a sub?" - eat your heart out, no SAF-factor guys!)...

I'll give my impression in about a ****ing week when I get time to hook the sucker up (STF-2, purchased locally).

I bought my STF-2 a little over a week ago, and I've been very pleased. My girlfriend's 9 year old son spent the night Saturday and we had a Star Wars marathon. The HSU rattles my floor and walls like my EP175 never could. Hope you enjoy it!

I also have entered the world of lfe. I just received an HSU STF-3, purchased via a Canadian dealer.

I never knew what I was missing...sure I've listened to subs at a store, but this thing just rocks my HT area (it's not a dedicated room). I was concerned about the sub because my HT opens up into a larger area. Alas, there was no need for concern.

The STF-3 was more than enough for me...I definitely have no "what ifs" about this purchase. Love the bass!
