Well you guys finally made me do it. I bought a bunch of gear last night through Brent. I did it on lay-away due to my extension of the house will not be done until summer. So now I get to hear you guys talk about your equipment and I have to wait until August. Although it does make the payments a little easier to swallow with their plan which allows me to pay monthly on lay-away.

Now just thinking about which sub to run. This will be only for HT as well. I will be powering it with the ever so popular Denon 3805 and hopefully setting up a homeautomation and HTPC. I just need to get some good prices on structured wiring so I can run some fiber and cat 6 throughout the house.
I just cant stand the waiting. Of course I ordered it all in Boston Cherry

i guess i would say congrats, and have a nice 'torture', at the same time. its good you got them before the price goes up, but man, you got one heck of a wait.

Well nothing I could do about that I dont think "The Wife" wants them in our small living room 21x11 with an lshape sectional and 52" tv there isnt much room for anything else(I have a kenwoood htib which takes too much room).
I will buy them sooner if the project goes smooth and I can get the extension up before then. The price actually went down for us Canadians eh?!

WOW! Super nice system. Congrats, and be brave. That's one h*ll of a wait. Makes it easier that the room is not ready yet, though.

Give us an idea of the size of your new HT, and we might be able to make some suggestions for a sub. A diagram would be nice, but is not required.

Do you plan to drive to Axiom and pick them ?
I guess you would need a fairly large vehicle, but you are close enough that you could take a vacation in the area.

The room is going to be 20x16x8. Will be in the basement and that should cover the requirements for my network/electronics closet.

But you could do a tour of the factory and join those of us who have been there!!!!

Granted, my tour was in 1991...and based on other tour reports of a more recent vintage, things have changed!!!

Perhaps we should organize a Southern Ontario tour de force......we seem to have a few local (within 3 hours drive) members...

...we could ski the local hill.....how does that sound Saturn?!?!?! HA!!

August? Oh man, you've got more patience then me, I'm in the process of finishing my basement right now, have been hanging drywall weekend. And my Axioms and Denon receiver are up in our living room right now, as a matter of fact my son is watching Men in Black right now and the sub just kicked in and scared the crap out of me....

Anyway, congrats, and that system should knock your socks off in that size room.....
