The build quality is excellent. (but at that price it ought to be!) I've been very happy with it.

I actually thought that the WAF would be very high.

If I didn't explain it correctly, the entire frame goes under and behind the monitor. It won't be visible at all, save the tiny shelf edge under the "floating" center channel speaker.

Craig, calibration of the center channel for distance and level will correct for any reasonable amount of difference.

I agree with JohnK...put your receiver to work!!Recalibrate the speaker distance to the listening area and correct it by auditioning a movie that you like so you can compare the sound before/after (kinda' to have a reference...)
