Hello short time lurker here, I'm going to be up grading my HT system very soon and started my research on spkeakers, AVR, DVD and TV. I'm currently running Onkyo TX DS777 Sony 5 disc DVD, Sony Mini Disc Player, Onkyo EQ unit. Im not even going to mention my speakers because I'll get ridiclue, all I can say is that I feel for those crappy cube speakers and 50" RP Hatachi Tv. The kids get all of this in their game room. What Ive been looking at is the Yamaha RXV2400 Denon DENDVD2910 Sammy 46"DLP HDTV. Now to the Point I have never heard AXIOM speakers prior to starting my research and I'am kind of leery of spending money on speakers that I have never heard before. I really like the design of the AXIOMS campared to Klipsch or Cerwin Vegas which I use to have.. I'm looking for speakers that can reproduce music and well as movies at a high level. I like the AXIOM EPIC 50 set up with one additional QS4. I was just wondering if anyone of you AXIOM fans live near Dallas and wouldn't mind if I drop by to hear form myself the rave review that I have been reading on this board..

Welcome DTSROCKS. Looks like a good plan. (Don't forget a subwoofer). Another alternative is to find a higher end shop near you and thry to audition some B&W 703s. They sound very close to the Axiom M60s. (And they are 3x the price).
