I had Martin Logan SL3's but they were too big and placement was a problem. (I am using an old pair of Cantons temporarily) Some of the ML smaller models may be comparable to M80's. Also looking at JM lab Electra.
Looking for guidance from some of you who may have done this before. I have Axiom QS2, EP-175 in my theater (where the ML's were) and MiT2's in a living room for background and I think they are all great products.
For stereo though transparency and imaging are critical for me.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Martin Logans sound great, until you move around the room. The sweet spot is so small that they would never be a choice for me unless they were going to be used strictly for 2-channel music. Sorry, I have no experience with JMLabs.
Consider the 30 day trial and give the M80's a trial in your own home. I recently had my Axiom system shipped FedEx overnight to Kansas City and it was $58 dollars to ship the M60's or $118 for everything.(I ended up having all of it shipped). Mind you that was overnight costs...shipping via ground is considerably less. I suppose it all depends on how far away you are from Axiom.
As I see it, the return shipping is a small price to pay for the peace of mind you'll have knowing you can affordably send them back if they are not to your liking.
