Ian recommended an M80 for my purposes. Now I'll show just how much I don't know...what kind of "marriage" will the M80 make with a NAD C370 integrated amp?

The NAD C370 is an excellent mate for the M80s. High power, high current, and able to drive almost any load.

Ian, thank you for your help. Your timely replies with helpful information added to other research that I've done have convinced me that, in very short order, I shall be ordering a pair of Axiom M80s. I am amazed that the president and chief engineer of any company will take the time to answer questions from prospective customers.

I have been driving an earlier Axiom Model (AX3) with an NAD 7240 for many years. This is an excellent economy "mid fi" amp company that produces high current and can be adjusted to use "Soft Clipping". They have solid power supplies, and transistor output stages.
