Hello Beernutz
I used a pair of M3Tis with a 5 watt per channel SET Antique Sound Labs MG S1 15DT and it was wonderful. I've since graduated to using a pair of M50 like speakers (Michaura M66s, use 2 6.5" drivers like those in Axioms, and an 85mm tweeter like that used in the Meraks). This is a magical combination (along with a Velodyne 8" sub soon to be replaced by a Partsexpress.com Vance Dickason Titanic 10" subwoofer).
Axioms are very efficient (the bigger the Axiom, the more efficient) and present no problem to a 5 wpc amplifier.

I meant a 0.75" Titanium tweeter like the one in the Merak not 85 mm.
