This is my first post and i am thinking about buying the Epic Midi Home Theater system but it is a toss between that and the monitor audio with four R90 and the center being a R180 and for a sub the R360 here is the link to info http://www.monitoraudiousa.com/products/radius/index.htm.
The reason that i am going to small is that i am going to be in a dorm room in Korea for a year so size matters. I am going to have a Denon 2805 to power the speakers. Just looking for some advice and thoughts...

had a chance to compare the M2 with the B1, not the R90. The M2 had more detail and a crisper sound; the B1 was more laid back in its presentation but offered much more mid-bass. With a good sub that fill the room, I'd go with the M2's. Hope this helps.

My first thought would be to go with the Epic Midi but pick up a Hsu STF-1 instead of the EP-125 sub. The Monitor Audio products seem to be well regarded on this site -- the Axioms are most commonly compared against the Silver series.
The Radius speakers look like good satellites but IMO are a bit small if you want to get great musical performance or really fill even a small room with sound. If you are going to play music on the system I think you will find the M2s in a completely different league from the Radius 90s.
The sub choice is just based on reviews and other posts -- I haven't had a chance to hear the EP125 -- but I do own M2 / VP100 and would recommend them to anyone. The M2s in particular are extraordinary performers.

Tough decision. Both Axiom and Monitor sell excellent speakers, and you honestly cannot go wrong with either. The one reason I would lean more towards Axiom is because of their excellent customer service which IMO has yet to be beat. Good luck!

I did not even think about an HSU that is a good suggestion. I already have a SVS sub, infact that is the main reason that I am in this message group in the first place. SVS opened my eyes to internet companies only.
One of the main reasons I was thinking about weight. I am only allowed 500 lbs so that is one reason for the size.

The Epic Midi with your SVS would be mighty fine, of course. I was running M2, VP100 and a PSB 6i sub which sounded just great together. Depending on what your current speakers are you may just be as impressed with the Axioms as you were with your SVS.
The SVS would certainly be noticed in the dorm

we are talking about a room 10x15. In my current HT i have paradigm monitor 7 v.3, CC370, and Mini monitor and one huge SVS PB2+( i mean /2 lol). My goal is to use my computer for HT and everything else. I am buying a apple 23'' lcd monitor to use.
I know that it will not replace my Pioneer Pro 630HD but you do what you can..

No, no! Don't soak it up! If you destroy your current machine, then you'll HAVE to buy a new one!
OK, well, so keyboards can be replaced. But we can pretend they don't.
