Hi all. I recently received the firmware upgrade for the 3910 from Denon. Everything seemed straight forward - load disc and let it run. But my disc is not being read by the player.

Has anyone else run across this problem?

I'll be contacting Denon to request another disc, in case this one is bad.

Also, you could put your serial number in on the Denon site and download the firmware. Then burn it onto a disc (making sure to do it on the slowest possible setting and also ending the session and finalizing the disc) and try that.

This worked for me for my 3910 firmware upgrade.

I just downloaded the firmware upgrade for my 2900.....burned a disc (disc at once)....loaded and updated fine.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'd like to burn a cd but I don't have the required software other than what came with xp. That's why I requested the firmware upgrade cd from Denon. But if the need is there, I can purchase some software in the morning.

With the cd you just loaded the disk and the 3910 did the rest?

What was the upgrade for the 2900?
I downloaded it, and will burn it and install when I add my new 2900 to the system on Satuday morning, but was just curious as to what it addressed.
I was surprised that there was no information on the Denon site as to what the upgrade actually involved.
