Nuts. While I was checking the board the Purolator guy stopped by with my QS8s. Either he didn't ring the bell or it didn't work (although it worked fine when I tried it), just heard the dogs barking but they bark all the time when kids are walking by going to school so I ignored them.

Opened the front door and what did I see ?

Well, we had a snowstorm last night. I shovelled the driveway and walk about 1AM but we had built up a foot or so overnight in places. You could clearly see where he tripped on the snow and fell into it, along with a nice rectangular imprint from (presumably) one of the QS8 boxes.

The marks didn't go through to the walk anywhere so it looks like courier and speaker both were OK. I didn't think the QS8s would be here for another day or I would have gone out earlier and shovelled.

so did he just leave them on the porch by the door?

shoveling snow at 1am? thats sleep time man!!! talk about regional changes. my buddy got his boat fired up yesterday afternoon for the first time this season, and we took it out for a spin. lake temp is still just a tad too cold, about 58F, but should be up in the upper 60's before the end of march. we will start jumping in then!

shoveling snow? only in my nightmares...

Nope, took them away and left a note.

If you want to try your hand at shovelling I have a 150 foot driveway that still needs a bit of TLC...

Yeah, those southern guys don't know what they are missing with not having to shovel snow.

It was a balmy 50 here in Virginia today. Had all the doors and windows open.
Had a thunderstorm a little while ago that made me think it was May.
I cannot imagine living where they measure snow in FEET!
25 years in NY & NJ was enough cold for me!
