Hi all. The 500 has been a member of our family for two months now and has finally grown roots near the fire place, which means it fires perpendicular to the 80s. And after numerous calibrations with Denon mic and the spl meter, I think I've finally got everything blending the way it should...or at least until I decide otherwise.
The wife and kids were out this weekend and the neighbors were all indoors, its been wet and dreary outside. What does this mean? It means I was able crank the Denon AVR to -10 with music and -20 with movies. I popped in LOTR III and let her rip. The 500's grill was removed and man was that driver moving. It was especially cool to see it breath during LFEs...not much audible sound but the driver was dancing. In fact, at times it moved so much that I began wondering if the grill would interfer with it when its on.
Anyone know if this is possible?
Axiom stuff, Denon stuff, & Sony stuff

Nice to hear the EP500 is a great sub. I had no doubts.
I doubt the grill would interfere. Axiom would have noticed during QA testing if it did.
