My friend who works at a bar (I know, bad source of information), said these two guys came in the other day and they're 'known' musicians here in Montreal. Anyway, they said they purchased a pair of speakers for $20,000 a pair, and they were made in a tree trunk.

has anyone ever heard of this? if so, i'd be curious to check it up. i wonder if it sounds any good. my buddy unfortunately could not remember the name of the manufacturer they had told him.

hey Bren,

silly me... anyway, those are clearly not the speakers the guys were talking about, if in fact they are real.

sirquack, i'd obviously never spend $20,000 on a pair of speakers, but there's no harm in auditioning a pair!

I hope you realized I was joking, that is what the was for, but by the ! at the end of your sentence, I'm curious? Anyway, just make sure you demo the ones made from Oak trees and not palm trees, I have heard they are more efficient and sound similar to the Axiom wedge design.
